Team Policy: $42.00 per debater
Lincoln Douglas: $42.00 per debater
Parli: $42.00 per debater
Speech Events: $30.00 for first event - $15.00 for each additional event - limit of 6 events.
Junior Team Debate: $20 per debater
Junior Speech Events: $20.00 for first event - $10.00 for each additional event - limit of 3 events.
Payment
Electronic payment is mandatory.
Stripe will be accepted for ALL registration fees.
Payments will not be accepted at the tournament. There will be no cash exchanged on site.
Drops
- Except for illness, there will be no refunds after registration closes, and a $10 fee will be applied for each dropped event through March 24th.
- A $20 drop fee will be applied from March 25-April 3.
- Aside from grave illness, a $25 drop fee will be applied beginning at tournament check-in on April 4th.
Drops create a domino effect of extra work for staff as they affect room allocation, judging needs, awards orders, and the award ceremony.
Trouble Registering
Participants must be Stoa members.
Stoa Registration Link
Be prepared to enter your Stoa "Affiliate Number" that you will find on the Review and Pay page of your 2023–2024 Stoa Registration or listed in your Stoa Registration confirmation email.
The tournament registration system will use your Affiliate Number to confirm your Stoa membership and will no longer require your name, phone number(s), address, etc., to exactly match your Stoa registration.
If you have not registered for Stoa for the current competition year, you will receive a "Not a Stoa Member" error message during the tournament registration process. You must register with Stoa before proceeding.
Please note, this registration website will compare your contact information with the Stoa member database. The system requires that what you key into the tournament registration website (name, phone number(s), address, etc.) exactly matches your personal information from your Stoa registration.
