A Greeting from the ARCH Clubs...

We are thrilled to host ARCH Madness again this year and we are so excited you are planning on joining us April 4-6.

Why ARCH Madness?
Every spring, the top 68 college basketball teams come together to play in a "winner take all" tournament that is affectionately called March Madness. Some people consider this the greatest sports tournament in the world. It is only fitting with a club name like ours, and hosting a tournament at the exact same time of year, that we would call our tournament ARCH Madness.

Why are our clubs named ARCH?
Obviously, we chose ARCH because of the famous landmark here in St. Louis which is the symbol of our beloved city.

ARCH also serves as an acronym and reminder of who we want to be as a Stoa Club, and who we want to be as young people in the world today:

HONOR is a core value of ours, and something we emphasize every year and at our tournament. Until then, know that we would love to have the HONOR of your presence at the ARCH Madness!

Tournament Dates: April 4-6, 2024

Registration Opens: Wednesday, Feb 21 at 9:00 AM (CST)

Registration Closes (Updated): Friday, Mar 1 at 10:00 PM (CST)

A completed registration, with payment, is due by this date (once the date is posted).

What does registration entail?

Because of judging shortages...

Every student MUST HAVE their parent present as chaperone, unless you have tournament director approval. If you want to request sending your child/student with another person/family, please email the Tournament Director, Jeremy Zilkie, [email protected].

Registration Fees

Team Policy: $42.00 per debater.
Lincoln Douglas: $42.00 per debater.
Parli: $42.00 per debater.
Speech: $30.00 for first event - $15.00 for each additional event - limit of 6 events.
Juniors Speech: $20 for first event - $10 for each additional event - limit of 3 events.
Junior Debate: $20 per debater.

PLEASE NOTE: Speech Patterns will be listed after registration closes and will depend on numbers per event. Please check back after registration closes

Also Note: Additional Tournament Pages will appear as those details are finalized.

Wait List: Events will fill up during registration. Go ahead and finish your registration. We leave some open rooms to make sure we allocate students to the right categories based on our final registration. This is not a guarantee that you will be removed from the wait list, but know that starting on the wait list is not necessarily an indicator that you won't get your event. However, those who have a completed registration will be given priority for all available event slots as they open up.
